Saiko 10k time-trial at Saitama/Lake Saiko
September 27, 2009 from 4pm to 7pm
Two loops around Lake Saiko in Saitama between Toda/Urawa and Shiki. Course is car-free and has a lot of markers, drinks can be put at the 5k mark. Run will be followed by a dip into the local hot-spring which is in jogging distance.

A cross- country race

Yesterday, I ran a 5km cross- country race in Nagano with my husband. It was not such a big race .
There were 800 runners .Everybody got a back -pack, a towel, and some snacks and had tonjiru ( pork
soup) after the race for free. The organizsers were very friendly.But it was really a tough course.Becuse
at first we had to run up hill like " a gelende" and the down hill .I felt like skiikng.After that were in the fo

Kawaguchi marathon 5km

I took part in Kwaguchi marathon .it was one of big race in Saitama.I tried to break 19' 00".
My condition was pretty good ! I could relax and concentrate while the race.So I could keep
a 3'45" pace on a flat course. Also I was following the top group still 4km potint. Last 500m
,it was hard to take breath tough I could do a last spurt. Finally I finished in 18'53".And I got
the first prize out of 300 women. I was very happy to get a gold trophy!!

Shiki long Run !!

I enjoyed running with Nambernners in Shiki , Saitama on June 8th.The organizer was Juergen who
guided us through nice trees course and arond a lake ,Saiko course.One loop of Saiko is about 5km
.It has some up and down,greenery and nice view of the lake.Toality I ran about 18km.
After that we went to Onsen whichi was a real hot spring.I could rid of the stress of the trainning and
my daily life.Also it was fun to have lunch and chat with member.I'd like to join Shiki long run again!!
