- I am a trail runner and marathoner. This year, I've run in 6 trail races, finishing 1st in my age group in 4 of them, 2nd in one and 8th in another. I ran in the Boston and New York marathons this year as well. I am interested in racing in Japan, especially trail races if they exist or a marathon other than Tokyo.

The marathon is very popular with runnners. So I guess that the entry will finished few days. By the way, Do you read Japanese?
Stay:When I ran the marathon, we stayed the hotel where was very far from start point. So I recommend you stay with Namban runners.

The course is almost flat. I guess that it is not satisfactory to you. Jejeje.

Here is my Nagano marathon report.
I went to Nagano to run Nagano marathon. Air and scenery perfect. The cherry blossoms were at their best now.
Nagano marathon is ranked first in the full marathon ranking in Japan. Course,aid station,expression of Km,cheer and staff service are very good. And Famous runners for example Shimon were invited. Besides,Mari Tanigawa and Masako Chiba also came to cheer and broadcast. This race has strict limit time. We have to within 5hour. So There were high level runners. Many runners ran at this way and that way the day before. So We were tensed up. This marathon was my third attempt. I had big three trouble. 1,I forgot how to use my watch. so I couldn't time on rap time. 2,I couldn't listen music. 3,I made pace calculator. But I couldn't see well with letter. It's too small. I got my new record though I had big trouble. I could shorten 7 minute previous record.

We have a lot of trail races in Japan, just let me know when you're coming and I'll try to find something for you. Just keep in mind the applications here finish very early!
