Running Marathon and Track Races in Japan/Asia

マラソン・陸上・駅伝

Yesterday, I ran a 5km cross- country race in Nagano with my husband. It was not such a big race .
There were 800 runners .Everybody got a back -pack, a towel, and some snacks and had tonjiru ( pork
soup) after the race for free. The organizsers were very friendly. But it was really a tough course.Becuse
at first we had to run up hill like " a gelende" and the down hill .I felt like skiikng. After that were in the fo
rest which had small ups and downs.I didn't enjoy it. Beause I am not good at hilly courses so my heart
rate was very high. But I did my best. Lukily I got the first prize in my age-group.The time was 23minutes
15secounds, I broke the record for my age group. My husband was 3rd in his age-group. we were very happy!!
